Blood Dermatology Program and Health Screening.
PKMRS has collaborated with the National Blood Centre, Ministry of Health Malaysia, and the Resident Committee (JKP) Zone 19 of Selayang Municipal Council in organizing the Free Blood Donation and Health Screening Program for the residents of Dun Kuang. This program took place at SJK (C) Kundang, Kampung Baru Kundang. The program, held from 10 am to 5 pm, has attracted the interest of residents in Kundang and Kuang. A total of 48 people registered to participate in this program, and 35 of them successfully donated blood after undergoing several screenings with attending doctors. Thirteen individuals had their blood donation applications rejected due to specific health factors. We express our gratitude to all parties involved in the success of this program. Thank you also to those who have supported our efforts in assisting and ensuring that the National Blood Centre has an adequate blood supply to help those in need. Remember that one blood donation can save three human lives.
Blood Dermatlogy Program.
On June 18, 2023, PKMRS collaborated with the National Blood Centre, Ministry of Health Malaysia, and AEON Rawang in organizing a Blood Donation Program for all visitors of AEON Rawang. This program, held from 10 am to 5 pm, has attracted the interest of residents in the vicinity of Rawang. A total of 205 people registered to participate in this program, and 147 of them successfully donated blood after undergoing several screenings with attending doctors. Fifty-eight individuals had their blood donation applications rejected due to specific health factors. We express our gratitude to all parties involved in the success of this program. Thank you also to those who have supported our efforts in assisting and ensuring that the National Blood Centre has an adequate blood supply to help those in need. Remember that one blood donation can save three human lives.
Donation of School Uniforms
On April 12, 2023, PKMRS donated a total of 30 vouchers from the Everyday Clothing Center worth RM 100 each to school students to purchase school uniforms and other school necessities at the Everyday Clothing Center. These vouchers were distributed to 30 students from B40 families. We hope that this assistance can alleviate the burden of parents and instill motivation in these children to go to school and acquire knowledge.
Rawang State-level Women's Day Carnival
On March 12, 2023, PKMRS sponsored RM 500.00, which was handed over by check, to the Rawang Srikandi Organization. The Rawang Srikandi Organization organized the Rawang State-level Women's Day Carnival at Padang Flat Putih, Bandar Country Homes, Rawang from 9 am to 5 pm. The carnival was also inaugurated by the Member of Parliament for Selayang, Mr. William Leong Jee Keen, and the Rawang ADUN, Mr. Chua Wei Kiat. There were various activities provided at the carnival, including a sports event, lucky draw, sales booths, and an exhibition and health check-up by KPJ Rawang.
Saraswathy Ceremony
On October 4, 2022, PKMRS attended the Saraswathy Prayer Ceremony at the SJK (T) Rawang Hall. We sponsored food for the students and teachers who attended and participated in this program, along with other parties involved.
